We are seeking a Remote Data Engineer to join our innovative team at Mento. What You'll Do

  • Design and implement data pipelines for coaching and user analytics, processing data from coaching sessions, user interactions, and AI-generated outputs.

  • Collaborate closely with product, engineering, coaching, and leadership teams to understand feature requirements and ensure data collection aligns with product capabilities.
  • Establish the data infrastructure and architecture, making key decisions that will influence the company's data strategy.
  • Monitor and optimize data pipelines for performance and reliability, ensuring seamless data flow across systems.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role, with a strong focus on building data pipelines.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with data warehousing solutions.
  • Familiarity with data processing frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark, Kafka) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP).
  • Experience with ETL processes and data modeling.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

  • Experience in the coaching or education technology sector.
