Remote Cloud Full Stack Python Software Engineer (AWS)

About the Role

We are currently seeking a Remote Cloud Full Stack Python Software Engineer to join our dynamic team at Railroad19, Inc. This role is focused on developing robust cloud applications using Python and AWS technologies. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to high-quality deliverables while fostering best practices in software development.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with clients to understand their fast-moving business requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Write and maintain scalable enterprise-quality software while building a serverless cloud environment using Python.
• Develop microservices that connect to NoSQL databases, preferably DynamoDB.
• Manage the complete software development life cycle, ensuring high standards of code quality through functional and unit tests.
• Support and troubleshoot issues, identifying root causes and recommending sustainable corrective actions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, specifically in Python development.
• Hands-on experience with AWS serverless technologies, including ECS Fargate and State machines.
• Proficiency in React and experience with JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Strong knowledge of SQL/Postgres and experience managing distributed systems.
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Docker, Node.js, and UI/UX design.
