About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Remote Business Development Executive to join our team at Halter. In this role, you will play a vital part in driving business growth and ensuring customer success within the dairy industry. As a Remote Business Development Executive, you will execute sales strategies, build strong customer relationships, and meet ambitious growth targets while representing Halter in the field. This position requires a proactive and hands-on approach, focusing on both expansion and long-term customer satisfaction.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct on-farm sales meetings to understand the needs of prospects and communicate the functionality and benefits of Halter's technology.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of quality farms suitable for Halter, continuously reducing sales cycle times.
  • Manage newly sourced and inbound leads through the initial stages of the sales pipeline, including screening and qualifying.
  • Leverage industry relationships to establish and maintain Halter's brand presence in the market.
  • Collaborate with the Business Development Manager to enable accurate monthly and quarterly revenue forecasting.
  • Work on growth initiatives to optimize and evolve the sales process, making it faster and more efficient as the company scales.

Requirements

  • A deep passion for helping farmers succeed and experience in farm systems or the agricultural sector.
  • A proven track record in sales, particularly in growing new business and managing the end-to-end sales cycle.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude, with the ability to overcome challenges and work collaboratively.
  • The ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a high degree of autonomy.
  • A hunger for success and personal growth, eager to evolve alongside a world-class sales team.

Nice to Have
