Remote AWS Cloud Engineer - Healthcare Focus

About the Role

We are seeking a Remote AWS Cloud Engineer to join our team at Lensa, supporting a healthcare company's Cloud Center of Excellence (COE). This role offers the opportunity to design and implement AWS-based infrastructure for enterprise healthcare applications while working in a fully remote environment.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement AWS infrastructure tailored for healthcare applications.
• Collaborate with software engineering, security, and infrastructure teams to align cloud solutions with business objectives.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments and testing.
• Implement security best practices, including IAM policies, encryption, and compliance controls.
• Monitor cloud environments using AWS tools such as CloudWatch and CloudTrail, optimizing for performance and cost efficiency.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in an AWS Cloud Engineering role.
• Proficiency in AWS services including EC2, S3, ECS, EKS, Lambda, and IAM.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python and Bash.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Enterprise-level experience with a focus on healthcare compliance and cloud security frameworks.
• AWS Solutions Architect or AWS DevOps Engineer certification preferred.

Nice to Have

• Experience in healthcare IT environments.
• Knowledge of cloud security frameworks.
