About the Role

We are seeking a Regulatory & Product Counsel - Remote to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing legal guidance on regulatory compliance, product development, and risk management. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our products meet all legal requirements and industry standards.

What You'll Do

  • Provide expert legal advice on regulatory compliance, including GDPR, CCPA, and other relevant laws.
  • Collaborate with product management and development teams to ensure compliance throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate potential legal issues.
  • Engage in qualitative research to understand user experience and regulatory impacts on product design.
  • Support talent acquisition efforts by providing legal insights on hiring practices and compliance.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • 5+ years of experience in regulatory compliance and product counsel roles.
  • Strong understanding of data privacy laws and regulations.
  • Experience in the SaaS industry is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in fintech, banking, or healthcare law.
  • Familiarity with SQL, Python, or R for data analysis.
  • Prior experience in litigation or dispute resolution.
