Registered Dental Assistant - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Dental Assistant to join our team remotely. As a Registered Dental Assistant, you will perform a variety of dental assisting duties while promoting a safe and clean environment for providing quality dental care. This role is essential in ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care.

What You'll Do

• Assist doctors in various dental procedures and communicate effectively with patients.
• Maintain equipment and inventory, ensuring compliance with OSHA and HIPAA standards.
• Review patient charts daily to ensure all documentation is complete.
• Pack and send lab cases promptly, rescheduling patients as necessary.
• Clean, sterilize, and package dental instruments to maintain a safe environment.
• Participate in staff meetings and team huddles to enhance team communication.
• Fill in for back-office positions as needed to support the team.
• Follow universal precautions and dental board regulations diligently.

Requirements

• Valid California Registered Dental Assistant license.
• Current Radiographic Certification and CPR certification required.
• Infection Control certification required.
• At least 1 year of recent experience as a Registered Dental Assistant preferred.
• Graduation from an accredited Dental Assisting School preferred.
• Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.
• Ability to travel between offices as necessary.

• Experience with advanced dental procedures.
• Familiarity with dental software and patient management systems.
