About the Role

What You'll Do
- Assist the Commercial Team embedded within a fast-paced, high-profile Ministry of Defence (MOD) Private Finance Initiative (PFI) at Northwood Joint Headquarters.
- Provide commercial assistance in the delivery of new works, lifecycle, and business-as-usual activities.
- Work closely with the commercial team to obtain quotations through the tender process.
- Conduct tender analysis and procure materials and subcontractors effectively.
- Assist in planning payment schedules and formulate cash flow forecasts to track and report margins.
- Measure completed works and help agree on payment applications.
- Monitor the progress of applications and manage any disputes that arise.
Requirements
- Experience in setting up and operating office management systems, including filing systems and document control.
- Proficiency in technical minute-taking at contractual meetings and the ability to collate information for reports.
- Experience drafting contractual correspondence on behalf of the Project Manager.
- Ability to prepare payment certificates and interim financial reports.
- Strong analytical and communication skills to facilitate effective collaboration.
