Quality Assurance Specialist - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team remotely. In this role, you will leverage your technical understanding and attention to detail to ensure and continuously improve our quality standards.

What You'll Do

• Conduct all quality-related inspections including documentation (e.g., layer thickness measurement, optical assessment of coating and tool quality).
• Perform incoming and outgoing goods inspections as well as final checks of tools before shipping, including approval or re-routing to production.
• Examine tools in quality control (incoming/outgoing) and monitor tool diameters.
• Verify customer drawings against production cards for accuracy.
• Handle complaints and report damages to production management, internal service, or customers.
• Create inspection reports, certificates, and measurement protocols, and maintain and document quality data (e.g., in Excel and ERP systems).
• Book orders and scrap positions in the ERP system.
• Support the preparation and execution of ISO certifications or re-certifications.
• Participate in planning and conducting internal product and process audits.
• Develop and maintain quality-related specification documents.
• Conduct quality-related training and instructions for employees.
• Assist in continuous improvement processes (CIP).
• Organize and allocate groups for chemical pre-treatment.

Requirements

• Completed technical training in metal, materials, or a comparable field.
• Ideally, experience in quality management/quality assurance (e.g., audits, measuring equipment management, complaint management, FMEA, EMPB).
• Knowledge in CVD diamond coating is advantageous.
• Good IT skills, especially in MS Office and ideally SAP.
• Proficient in German and basic English skills are desirable.
