Project Manager - Tokenomics & DeFi (Remote)

About the Role

We are looking for a Project Manager - Tokenomics & DeFi to lead cross-functional execution for token and DeFi initiatives at Morph. This remote role will own planning, coordination, and delivery across multiple teams and partner organizations, ensuring strategic initiatives are clearly defined and executed end to end. As a Project Manager - Tokenomics & DeFi, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our token-related projects.

What You'll Do

• Serve as the primary project lead for all token-related initiatives at Morph.
• Drive execution across Tokenomics, including emissions, governance mechanisms, burns, and incentive programs.
• Manage exchange and wallet listings, coordinating timelines and dependencies.
• Oversee public data and visibility, including CoinMarketCap, CoinGecko, documentation, and disclosures.
• Ensure token initiatives are clearly scoped, sequenced, and delivered on schedule.
• Identify risks, blockers, and trade-offs; escalate and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Develop and maintain a clear DeFi strategy for Morph DEX products and other DeFi partner protocols.
• Own and communicate the DeFi roadmap, tracking and reporting on outcomes and performance metrics, including TVL, usage, liquidity health, and partner traction.
• Act as a central point of coordination across different teams, ensuring ownership, timelines, and dependencies are clearly defined and visible.
• Coordinate regularly with internal partners and external partners to maintain alignment and execution.
• Drive meetings, decision-making, and follow-ups to keep initiatives moving forward.

Requirements

• Fluent or high-proficiency bilingual in English and Mandarin.
• Strong project management capability across technical and non-technical teams.
• Proven ability to operate in ambiguous, fast-moving environments with multiple parallel workstreams.
• Crypto-native mindset with hands-on exposure to Token launches, Tokenomics or governance, and DeFi ecosystems or protocols.

• Experience with agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with blockchain technology and smart contracts.
• Previous experience in a startup environment.
