About the Role

Toast is hiring a full-time Product Designer – Platform Experience to join our innovative team. This Product Designer remote position allows you to work from anywhere in the United States, contributing to the development of our platform that enhances user experience and engagement. As a key member of our design team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our products.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience.
• Create user-centered designs by understanding business requirements, and user feedback.
• Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that effectively communicate design ideas.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design concepts and improve user experience.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure our designs are cutting-edge and effective.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Product Designer or similar role.
• Strong portfolio showcasing your design process and final outcomes.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience with user research methodologies and usability testing.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience in B2B SaaS products.
• Knowledge of front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
