Procurement Manager - Data Centers (Remote)

About the Role

We are seeking a Procurement Manager - Data Centers to join our dynamic team at Galaxy. This remote position offers an exciting opportunity to lead our owner-furnished procurement program for large-scale data center development. You will play a crucial role in planning, sourcing, and managing the delivery of long-lead equipment and technical service packages that directly impact critical-path project schedules.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with Engineering, Project Management, and Operations to define early procurement requirements for OFCI equipment and service packages.
• Develop category and sourcing strategies aligned to schedule risk, cost drivers, and technical requirements.
• Translate technical specifications into clear scopes of work, commercial requirements, and procurement schedules.
• Lead vendor prequalification, competitive sourcing events, and RFP/RFQ development for long-lead equipment and construction-adjacent service packages.
• Manage bid processes, analyze commercial and technical proposals, and perform total cost of ownership evaluations.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, risk allocations, and commercial terms that support project objectives.
• Support contract drafting and terms negotiation in partnership with Legal and technical stakeholders.
• Monitor production, logistics, and delivery of long-lead equipment, proactively identifying risks to cost or schedule.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Integrated Supply Chain Management, Procurement Business, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• 2+ years of procurement experience supporting hyperscale, hardware, energy, utilities, industrial, or mission-critical construction projects.
• Experience purchasing long-lead equipment such as electrical gear, mechanical systems, generators, switchgear, and cooling systems.
• Strong understanding of procurement best practices, including competitive sourcing, bid evaluation, supplier performance metrics, and RFP development.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills with the ability to distill complex technical and commercial information into clear, actionable recommendations.

Nice to Have

• Experience leveraging procure-to-pay systems such as Ramp, Workday, Coupa, or SAP Ariba.
• Professional certifications (ASCM, CSCP, PMP, or similar).
