Process Technical Support Engineer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Process Technical Support Engineer to join our team remotely. In this role, you will provide essential process technical support to our customers and internal stakeholders in the Asia Pacific Market Area. Your focus will be on supporting key Stirred Mill customers with operational improvements and equipment optimization. This position requires a commitment to sustainability and innovation in the use of the world’s natural resources.

What You'll Do

• Provide process technical support for customers within the Asia Pacific Region, including Plant Operations Support, Metallurgical Optimization, Data Analysis & Reporting, and Continuous Improvement.
• Participate in regular site-based visits to deliver product-based process technical support.
• Collaborate closely with the Technical Sales Support Team to identify customer needs and potential opportunities.
• Prepare Site Visit reports and technical recommendations based on findings.
• Assist with the scoping, execution, and analysis of process audits and surveys of customer equipment.
• Support commissioning and ramp-up of new plants or circuits.
• Keep abreast of new developments in the industry by reviewing current technical literature and attending seminars and trade shows.
• Encourage customers to utilize our service capability for regular programmed field inspections of our equipment.

Requirements

• A degree in chemical engineering or metallurgy with at least five years of relevant experience in a process engineer/metallurgist environment.
• Proven ability to apply technical principles and scientific thinking to a wide range of practical problems.
• Intermediate computer literacy with various office-based software skills.
• Experience with metallurgy-specific tools such as METSIM and JKSimMet.
• Strong skills in process simulation, modeling, and statistical data analysis.
• Must possess a current motor vehicle license and passport, with the ability to travel domestically and internationally.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong customer relationships.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute positively.

Nice to Have

• Experience in the mining or minerals processing industry.
• Familiarity with Stirred Mill equipment.
• Knowledge of environmental sustainability practices.
