About the Role

We are hiring a Pool Deck Attendant to join our dynamic team at Alys Beach, a luxury beach community in Panama City Beach, Florida. As a Pool Deck Attendant, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a memorable experience at our Beach Club. This position offers a competitive hourly wage of $18.00, along with first-day medical benefits and a $1,000 sign-on bonus.

What You'll Do

  • Open and close umbrellas, ensuring a comfortable environment for guests.
  • Clean and set lounge chairs with fresh towels, maintaining a pristine poolside area.
  • Regularly pick up pool towels and check trash cans, ensuring cleanliness.
  • Perform daily housekeeping tasks in cabanas and dining areas.
  • Evaluate the condition of the pool deck daily and report any deficiencies to your supervisor.
  • Deliver complimentary bottled water and menus to guests, enhancing their experience.
  • Work outdoors in varying weather conditions, demonstrating resilience and adaptability.
  • Maintain a neat and tidy appearance while providing excellent customer service.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Experience working on a pool deck is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to maintain a calm demeanor under stress.
  • Ability to stand for 8 hours and carry weights up to 50 pounds.
  • Organizational skills to thrive in a changing environment.
  • Willingness to work weekends and holidays, as well as overtime when necessary.
