What You'll Do

  • Create a nurturing and ordered learning environment that is learner-centered and supportive.
  • Deliver high-quality teaching in Middle Years History and Middle and Senior Years Religious Education.
  • Collaboratively develop and implement quality curriculum programs and evaluate their effectiveness.
  • Engage in professional learning to enhance student learning outcomes.
  • Establish positive relationships in the pastoral care of students, supporting their spiritual and moral development.

Requirements

  • Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.
  • Current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers.
  • Experience in creating a supportive, learner-focused classroom aligned with the Australian Curriculum.
  • Expertise in designing and delivering effective curriculum programs.
  • A commitment to engage with colleagues, students, and parents to enrich learning experiences.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in teaching other subjects within Middle Years.
  • A passion for supporting students' spiritual and moral development.
  • Previous experience in a similar educational environment.
