About the Role

What You'll Do

  • Move baggage and cargo of various weights to and from aircraft, ensuring timely and efficient handling.
  • Drive and operate belt loaders to facilitate the loading and unloading of items.
  • Service aircraft at gates with ground power and air conditioning, maintaining operational efficiency.
  • Tow and push back aircraft from gates, ensuring safety and adherence to protocols.
  • Clean the interior of aircraft as needed, contributing to a pleasant travel experience for passengers.
  • Position beverage and luggage carts around the ramp area to streamline operations.
  • Work outdoors in various weather conditions, demonstrating resilience and adaptability.
  • Report to your assigned station on time, including mandatory overtime requirements and varying shifts.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED or international equivalent.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to lift, load, unload, and transport bags and cargo to/from aircraft, bag carts, and conveyor belts.
  • Basic computer skills are essential for documentation and communication.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license as required by local authorities.
  • Ability to secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges.
  • Completion of a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
  • Ability to obtain jet bridge certification.

Nice to Have

  • Previous experience in a similar role is a plus but not required.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers.
  • A positive and cooperative attitude, contributing to a team-oriented environment.
