About the Role

Join Kalahari Resorts & Conventions as an Overnight Dishwasher. In this role, you will help maintain cleanliness and proper storage of all dishware, silverware, and kitchen equipment, ensuring a safe and enjoyable dining environment for our guests. This Overnight Dishwasher position is crucial for supporting our kitchen staff and delivering extraordinary guest experiences.

What You'll Do

• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe workstation as an Overnight Dishwasher.
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures according to health department standards.
• Thoroughly clean and sanitize all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Assist kitchen staff in maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen and storage areas.
• Support a smooth kitchen operation, allowing chefs and servers to focus on delivering excellent service.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of dishwashing/sanitation experience preferred.
• General food and beverage knowledge, with at least 1 year of back-of-the-house operations preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety.
• Willingness to work overnight shifts.

Nice to Have

• Experience in a high-volume kitchen environment.
• Knowledge of kitchen equipment and cleaning supplies.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
