- Perform timely follow-ups on claims to prevent revenue loss.
- Prioritize pending claims for calling from the aging bucket.
- Review unpaid claims from insurance companies and check for insufficient or unclear information.
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance while communicating with insurance companies.
- Handle patient billing queries and update account information accurately.
- Document all processes and maintain confidentiality in accordance with company policies.
Requirements
- Graduate in any stream with 2-5 years of experience in operations or customer service.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Proficient in using computerized billing systems and practice management software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare insurance processes is a plus.
