Operating Chair – Board Director for Crypto-Native Organization

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic Operations Leader to serve as the operational backbone of our rapidly scaling crypto-native organization. This Operating Chair – Board Director remote position requires an exceptional operator who can establish and enforce disciplined cadence across our diverse technical and financial teams—including engineering, quantitative analysis, data science, decentralized finance, listings, and finance functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving operational excellence through structured execution frameworks, clear decision-making processes, and robust reporting mechanisms.

What You'll Do

• Act as the critical bridge between strategic vision and tactical execution, ensuring that all teams maintain accountability while staying aligned with our broader organizational objectives.
• Drive operational excellence through structured execution frameworks and clear decision-making processes.
• Implement KPI dashboards and structured reporting to facilitate execution across teams.
• Ensure effective communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Manage cross-functional processes and maintain accurate logs and audit-ready documentation.

Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in crypto operations, fintech, market data, or exchange-adjacent products.
• Evidence of shipped products and KPI ownership.
• Strong meeting cadence and written communication skills.
• Able to obtain outside-activity approval and sign conflicts/confidentiality letters.
• Ability to assess complex technical and business issues and align execution with board-level strategy.

• Working knowledge of DeFi.
