About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Night Auditor to join our hospitality team in a remote capacity. As a Night Auditor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our hotel guests receive the highest level of service during the overnight shift. This Night Auditor position offers a unique opportunity to work in a supportive environment while managing essential hotel operations remotely.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as the main point of contact for all guest requests and needs from 11:00 pm until 7:00 am.
  • Ensure accurate processing and recording of hotel accounting for all areas of hotel operations.
  • Audit, balance, post, and report on front desk, rooms, and food and beverage outlets' cash and credit operations.
  • Run the night audit final, ensuring all revenue is in balance.
  • Attend to guest needs at the front desk, providing exceptional service and support.

Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent experience is required.
  • An accounting background is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Ability to be on call and scheduled when necessary.
  • Attention to detail and ability to compile facts and figures accurately.
  • Experience with hotel systems and software, including cash registers.
  • Effective and courteous communication skills, both over the telephone and in person.
  • Ability to lift luggage up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Availability on weekends and holidays is essential.
