National Nurseries System Program Specialist - Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated National Nurseries System Program Specialist - Remote to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing and coordinating nursery programs that focus on reforestation and ecosystem restoration. This position offers the opportunity to work remotely while making a significant impact on environmental conservation efforts across the nation.

What You'll Do

• Manage and oversee nursery programs, ensuring alignment with conservation goals and objectives.
• Coordinate with various stakeholders, including federal agencies, to facilitate project planning and execution.
• Provide technical assistance and support to nursery staff and volunteers.
• Conduct data analysis to assess program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
• Prepare and manage grant applications and budgets to secure funding for nursery operations.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in program management or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of nursery management practices and ecological principles.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Google Sheets.
• Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM tools is a plus.
