About the Role

We are seeking a talented Mid-Senior Android (Kotlin) Developer to join our dynamic team at Golabs Tech. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to work remotely from anywhere in Latin America. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality mobile applications. As an Android (Kotlin) Developer, you will leverage modern Android architectures and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and reliable mobile solutions.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin.
• Apply modern Android architectural patterns such as MVVM or Clean Architecture.
• Integrate Android applications with backend services and RESTful APIs.
• Collaborate with frontend, backend, and QA teams to deliver features end to end.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and stability.
• Participate in code reviews and agile development ceremonies.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues across environments.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience in Android application development.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and the Android SDK.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs and services.
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• English level B2 or above is required.
• Fluent English, including spoken, written, and technical comprehension.

Nice to Have

• Experience with modern Android libraries and tools.
• Knowledge of mobile UI/UX principles.
• Previous experience in an agile development environment.
