Member of Technical Staff - Platform Engineering (Remote)

About the Role

Join Anchorage Digital as a Member of Technical Staff in our Platform Engineering Team. This exciting remote position allows you to work on cutting-edge technologies in the crypto space, focusing on building the most advanced digital asset platform for institutions. As a Member of Technical Staff, you'll be instrumental in shaping our Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, ensuring that our internal developers can deploy their code smoothly and efficiently.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement next-generation CI/CD pipelines, emphasizing security, speed, and reliability.
• Maintain and optimize the health of our monorepo, ensuring scalable dependency management and fast incremental builds.
• Work with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to architect secure, scalable runtime environments.
• Measure and improve developer experience by identifying friction points in the workflow and automating solutions.
• Build robust local and remote test infrastructure to boost developer confidence and productivity.
• Monitor and optimize cloud and build fleet costs without sacrificing performance.
• Collaborate with external partners and internal engineering teams to deliver secure cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Advocate best practices across developer experience and CI/CD processes.

Requirements

• Strong programming skills and experience with automation.
• Experience with major cloud providers, ideally GCP and/or AWS.
• Proven experience building complex and performant CI/CD systems.
• Familiarity with build toolchains such as Bazel or Gradle.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
