Member of Technical Staff - Infrastructure (Remote)

About the Role

Join Anchorage Digital as a Member of Technical Staff, focusing on Infrastructure. In this remote role, you will work on building and maintaining our advanced digital asset platform, enabling institutions to participate in the crypto ecosystem. As a key member of our Infra Engineering team, you will engage with cloud infrastructure, including GCP, Terraform, and Kubernetes, to ensure a reliable and secure runtime environment.

What You'll Do

• Define and influence network architecture initiatives, creating abstractions for hybrid connectivity between Data Centers and Kubernetes clusters.
• Operate reliable and cost-efficient infrastructure across regions, ensuring smooth deployment and performance.
• Lead initiatives to migrate legacy network setups to a modern, automated architecture.
• Build robust monitoring and observability into the network layer to shorten feedback loops during outages or latency events.
• Collaborate with external partners (ISPs, DC providers) and internal teams to deliver secure infrastructure solutions.
• Advocate for best practices across network security and connectivity.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Linux/Unix internals, Docker containerization, and command-line tools.
• Experience configuring and managing enterprise-grade network hardware and firewalls.
• Familiarity with major cloud providers (GCP or AWS) and their specific networking constructs.
• A desire to automate network management through coding rather than manual SSH access.
• Willingness to work on cloud infrastructure that supports the network backbone.

Nice to Have

• Prior experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code (IAC) tools for network automation.
• Experience setting up and monitoring private B2B connectivity.
• A passion for cryptography and a background in finance.
