Medical Assistant - Transforming Healthcare
About the Role

As a Medical Assistant (MA), you will be integral in providing quality care and service to our patients, ensuring they receive the best healthcare experience possible.
What You'll Do
- Educate and empower members on how to utilize their membership effectively.
- Collaborate with your paired Primary Care Providers (PCPs) to deliver exceptional care to your assigned patient panel.
- Coordinate with outside service providers for imaging, labs, and specialist referrals.
- Perform vital signs, lab testing, EKGs, phlebotomy, and IV procedures.
- Assist providers with in-office procedures to ensure smooth patient care.
- Welcome all members to the clinic, providing reassurance and support.
- Conduct follow-ups to ensure members feel cared for and supported in navigating the healthcare system.
- Communicate directly with patients through phone, text, and email to customize their experience.
- Manage inventory and maintain cleanliness in the clinic.
- Represent the medical facility at community events and health fairs to promote services.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant.
- Experience in a clinic setting and providing care to all ages, including pediatrics.
- Proficient in performing EKGs, phlebotomy, IVs, and injections.
- Experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR/EMR) systems.
- Active BLS certification or the ability to obtain it.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Certified Medical Assistant is preferred.

Who Will Succeed Here
