Managing Director /​ Director – Financial Sponsor Coverage Officer

About the Role

We are seeking a Managing Director / Director – Financial Sponsor Coverage Officer to join our team at Teragonia. This remote role offers a unique opportunity to lead and expand our relationships with top-tier private equity firms. You will be instrumental in introducing our innovative AI platform, Astradis, to investment teams and operating partners, driving value creation across their portfolios.

What You'll Do

• Establish and expand trusted relationships with major private equity firms across both investment and operating partner teams.
• Position Astradis as a portfolio-wide value creation platform for large-cap and mega-cap sponsors.
• Partner with our Value Orchestration Engineering leaders in pre-sales to articulate Teragonia’s value to CEOs and Presidents of PE-backed companies.
• Build and scale a high-quality enterprise sales pipeline across sponsors and their portfolios.
• Serve as Teragonia’s senior ambassador at PE conferences and executive gatherings.
• Work with the CEO and Head of Marketing to host proprietary events for PE investors.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop future leaders within the organization.

Requirements

• MD or Director-level experience in a top-tier investment bank’s Financial Sponsor Coverage group or equivalent.
• Deep relationships with control-oriented buyout sponsors managing $15B+ in assets.
• Proven ability to originate and close complex, high-value enterprise relationships.
• Genuine passion for AI and technology.
• Legally authorized to work in the US.
