Maintenance Technician - Onsite Position

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team at NALS Apartment Homes. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring our apartment communities are well-maintained and welcoming for our residents. This is an onsite position located in Las Vegas, Nevada, where you will have the opportunity to grow your skills and contribute to a positive living environment.

What You'll Do

• Respond to all service requests, callbacks, and work orders promptly and efficiently.
• Complete assigned maintenance make-ready sheets to prepare vacant apartments for new residents.
• Maintain pools and spas, including conducting chemical testing and ensuring furniture cleanliness.
• Keep property grounds, workplace, and maintenance shop in excellent condition.
• Handle after-hour calls and emergencies as needed.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of multifamily maintenance experience.
• Previous painting experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of building systems and the unit turn process.
• Experience in plumbing, pool and spa maintenance, appliance repair, electrical repairs, and basic roofing repairs.
• A valid driver’s license and current auto insurance may be required.
• Ability to work a 40-hour week, including on-call rotation with weekend availability.
• Physical capability to perform medium to heavy work, including lifting up to 100 lbs.
• Good hand-eye coordination and ability to perform repetitive tasks.

Nice to Have

• Certification in maintenance or related fields.
• Experience with HVAC systems.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and practices.
