Maintenance Laborer - 1st Shift at Electric Machinery Company

We are looking for a dedicated Maintenance Laborer - 1st Shift to join our team at Electric Machinery Company. What You'll Do

• Perform general cleaning of the shop area, including break rooms, restrooms, and manufacturing floor aisles.
• Empty trash and maintain cleanliness in all areas, including washing windows and power scrubbing floors.
• Refill paper products and maintain supplies in restrooms and break rooms.
• Assist in cleaning manufacturing floor trash and maintaining dumpster cleanliness.
• Support Electrical Mechanical Technicians with basic maintenance duties as needed.
• Demonstrate a commitment to Continuous Improvement by identifying opportunities for efficiency in day-to-day tasks.
• Adhere to ISO 9001 Quality Standards and comply with OSHA and EPA regulations.
• Participate in team activities and contribute to a positive work environment.

Requirements

• High School diploma preferred.
• 1 year of maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to be certified in overhead crane, Jib crane, and forklift operation.
• Physical ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs and work in various physical positions.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Knowledge of maintenance practices and procedures.
• Familiarity with ISO standards.
