Lifestyle Team Leader - Aged Care Community
About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lifestyle Team Leader remote to join our team at The Alba Aged Care in South Melbourne. In this role, you will make a significant impact on the lives of elderly residents by implementing lifestyle programs and fostering community connections.
What You'll Do
- Implement and deliver engaging lifestyle programs and social calendars for residents.
- Assess and individualize lifestyle plans based on the unique needs of our residents.
- Lead and develop a small team of Lifestyle Assistants and Volunteers.
- Collaborate with residents and family members to develop a diverse range of activities.
- Engage with community groups to build a network of support and social partners.
- Identify and organize new events that keep our residents actively engaged.
- Promote our Better Together model and embody our values of Bold, Warm, and Honest.
Requirements
- Strong experience in Aged Care with a person-centered focus.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to inspire a team.
- Qualifications in Lifestyle and Leisure or Diversion Therapy.
- Experience working with individuals living with Dementia or Alzheimer's is highly regarded.
- Excellent computer and documentation skills.
- Availability to work full-time, Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm.
