Lead Data Scientist - AI Focused Remote Role

About the Role

We are seeking a Lead Data Scientist to join our innovative team at KatchMe. This remote Lead Data Scientist position offers you the opportunity to work at the forefront of AI technology, contributing to impactful projects that enhance decision-making processes through advanced machine learning techniques.

What You'll Do

• Lead the design and improvement of machine learning models and generative AI integrated into our products.
• Develop use cases around NLP, including data extraction, structuring, and generation.
• Fine-tune models and implement RAG pipelines and agents.
• Personalize intelligent recommendations and classification algorithms.
• Continuously optimize the performance and relevance of models in production.
• Collaborate with international backend/data teams to industrialize solutions.
• Frame technical requirements for new AI use cases.

Requirements

• 5 to 10 years of experience in Data Science/AI.
• Hands-on experience with NLP and/or generative AI projects.
• Proficiency in Python and the machine learning ecosystem.
• Strong understanding of LLM architectures (fine-tuning, RAG, agents).
• Ability to structure, drive, and technically challenge projects.
• Fluent in both French and English, comfortable in an international context.

Nice to Have

• Experience with LangChain and Prompt Engineering.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL and neural networks.
• Previous experience in a startup environment.
