Kid Zone Team Member - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and energetic Kid Zone Team Member remote to join our team at In-Shape Family Fitness. As a Kid Zone Team Member, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, welcoming, and fun environment for children aged 3 months to 12 years. You will engage kids through age-appropriate games, activities, and creative play, ensuring every visit is a positive and memorable experience.

What You'll Do

• Maintain a safe environment by implementing safety policies and procedures.
• Observe and monitor the activities of all children in the Kids Zone.
• Organize and participate in recreational activities, including reading, teaching simple painting, drawing, handicrafts, and songs.
• Engage children in activities that promote healthy habits and social development.
• Ensure only authorized personnel enter the Kids Zone area and that all policies are followed.
• Resolve concerns and ensure our members’ needs are met while adhering to company guidelines.
• Assist in building our community of members through a consistent member experience.
• Perform additional duties as assigned, including monitoring the pool and slide during applicable seasons.

Requirements

• Pre-school or daycare experience is desired.
• Flexible and positive attitude in meeting and exceeding our members’ expectations.
• Patience and creative energy to work with children, along with physical stamina to care for energetic groups.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well under pressure.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.
• Current CPR certification or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire.
• Must be Trustline registered; In-Shape will facilitate this upon acceptance of the offer.

Nice to Have

• First Aid Training (required only at clubs with pool slides).
