Junior Food Services Assistant - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are excited to announce an opening for a Junior Food Services Assistant remote position at Grampians Health. This role is perfect for individuals looking to contribute to a professional kitchen team while enjoying the flexibility of remote work. As a Junior Food Services Assistant remote, you will be responsible for preparing, plating, and delivering food and beverages to patients and clients. This position is available for an immediate start and includes a minimum of 12 hours per fortnight, with the potential for additional shifts.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and plate food items according to established standards.
• Deliver food and beverages to patients and clients efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the food services environment.
• Manage and organize your time effectively to meet deadlines.
• Provide excellent customer service and communication with clients.

Requirements

• Experience in a similar food services role.
• Strong knowledge of food hygiene and cleanliness standards (HACCP knowledge preferred).
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
• Effective communication and customer service skills.
• Food handling certificate is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Point of Sales (POS) systems.
• Experience as a barista.
• Qualifications in Hospitality.
