IT Support Technician - Remote Support for Hospitality

What You'll Do
- Provide on-site and remote desktop support for hardware and software troubleshooting.
- Utilize remote support tools such as VNC, LogMeIn, and RDP to assist clients effectively.
- Setup, deploy, and maintain end-user equipment while ensuring optimal performance.
- Perform network administration functions, including user account permissions and Active Directory changes.
- Follow up with clients to ensure that all issues are resolved satisfactorily.
- Maintain accurate and timely information in the ticketing system for all support requests.
- Collaborate with peers to develop technical solutions and complete assigned projects.
- Engage in continuous learning of industry-specific and proprietary management systems.
Requirements
- Minimum of five years of related experience in IT support or equivalent.
- Strong troubleshooting abilities and familiarity with TCP/IP, cables, IP phones, and workstation connectivity.
- Proficiency in Windows server and desktop operating systems.
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for on-site support as needed.
- Understanding of hotel property management and Point of Sale applications.
- Relevant certifications such as A+, MCSE, or MCDST are preferred.
Nice to Have
- Experience with mobile devices in an enterprise environment.
- Familiarity with PCI compliance and certificates.
- Knowledge of Ruckus APs and Meraki APs administration.
- Understanding of IP networking and troubleshooting.
