What You'll Do

  • Provide on-site and remote desktop support for hardware and software troubleshooting.
  • Utilize remote support tools such as VNC, LogMeIn, and RDP to assist clients effectively.
  • Setup, deploy, and maintain end-user equipment while ensuring optimal performance.
  • Perform network administration functions, including user account permissions and Active Directory changes.
  • Follow up with clients to ensure that all issues are resolved satisfactorily.
  • Maintain accurate and timely information in the ticketing system for all support requests.
  • Collaborate with peers to develop technical solutions and complete assigned projects.
  • Engage in continuous learning of industry-specific and proprietary management systems.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five years of related experience in IT support or equivalent.
  • Strong troubleshooting abilities and familiarity with TCP/IP, cables, IP phones, and workstation connectivity.
  • Proficiency in Windows server and desktop operating systems.
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for on-site support as needed.
  • Understanding of hotel property management and Point of Sale applications.
  • Relevant certifications such as A+, MCSE, or MCDST are preferred.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with mobile devices in an enterprise environment.
  • Familiarity with PCI compliance and certificates.
  • Knowledge of Ruckus APs and Meraki APs administration.
  • Understanding of IP networking and troubleshooting.
