IT Desktop Support Specialist - Remote Opportunities
About the Role
We are seeking an IT Desktop Support Specialist to join our team and provide exceptional remote support. As an IT Desktop Support Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of IT infrastructure, providing first-class support to end-users, and troubleshooting a variety of hardware and software issues. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely while supporting our operations across the USA and Canada.
What You'll Do
- Provide day-to-day local and remote IT desktop support, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Manage IT infrastructure operations, including business continuity, network technologies, and user support.
- Deliver dedicated "white glove" support for executives and top management.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues, including Windows 10, Microsoft Office, and O365.
- Install, upgrade, and support various user devices, including PCs, laptops, and mobile devices.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors for complex audio-visual and printing issues.
- Document operational problems and maintain ticket updates using ServiceNow.
- Perform end-user training and onboarding processes for new technologies.
Requirements
- Proven experience in desktop support, particularly with Windows 10 and MS Office 365.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in PC hardware and IT network infrastructure.
- Experience with helpdesk ticketing systems and Microsoft Active Directory.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Willingness to work off-hours and weekends as needed.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with conference room technologies and mobile device management.
- Experience in a GxP regulated environment.
- Knowledge of audio-visual systems and enterprise encryption solutions.
