Intern - International Operations Management (Remote)

About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Intern for International Operations Management to join our team at Conduent. This role offers an exciting opportunity to engage in international logistics and commerce strategies while working remotely. As an intern, you will actively participate in managing international operations, contributing to the development of a comprehensive international commerce strategy.

What You'll Do

• Assist in the management of international logistics operations, including planning the supply and delivery of distributors to Israel, considering production constraints and client deadlines.
• Coordinate and monitor international shipments from the production site, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with regulations.
• Analyze the international supply chain challenges, including costs, risks, and multi-actor coordination.
• Select the most suitable transport mode (maritime, air, multimodal) and determine appropriate Incoterms and insurance requirements to optimize costs.
• Prepare all necessary customs and regulatory documents for exports, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and transport documents.
• Participate in defining a client-adapted international commerce strategy, integrating client expectations into logistical solutions.
• Propose improvements for the organization of international flows based on operational insights.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of international operations management and logistics.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with international trade regulations and logistics processes is a plus.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of French is an advantage.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
• Interest in developing a career in international operations management.

Nice to Have

• Previous internship experience in logistics or supply chain management.
• Knowledge of Incoterms and customs documentation.
• Familiarity with project management tools.
