IAM Architect - Remote Opportunity with Relocation Support

About the Role

We are looking for an IAM Architect remote to work with KWAN, a company that connects IT professionals with projects that match their skills and goals. This is an exciting opportunity to design and implement IAM architectures and frameworks aligned with Zero-Trust principles.

What You'll Do

  • Design and implement IAM architectures and frameworks aligned with Zero-Trust principles.
  • Define and evolve identity governance, access management, and privileged access strategies.
  • Integrate applications and platforms with IAM solutions across cloud and enterprise environments.
  • Ensure compliance with security standards and regulatory frameworks.
  • Act as a technical reference on IAM best practices and decision-making.
  • Deliver guidance, training, and awareness on IAM topics.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as an IAM Architect or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of IAM protocols and standards (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect).
  • Experience with cloud IAM services (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Solid understanding of security and compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, NIS2, CIS, OWASP, MITRE ATT&CK).
  • Ability to operate at strategic and hands-on levels.
  • Strong communication skills, able to translate complex topics into clear guidance.
  • Fluent in Portuguese and English (mandatory).
  • Availability to work in a hybrid environment – 2 times per week in the office in Porto.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with IAM tools like Okta, Ping Identity, or similar.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
  • Experience in a consulting environment.
