About the Role

We are excited to offer a Human Resources Intern - Remote position at Tire Capital. This internship is designed for university students looking to gain hands-on experience in HR functions while working remotely. As a Human Resources Intern, you will support various HR activities and work closely with our HR team to enhance your skills and knowledge in the field.

What You'll Do

  • Assist the HR team with onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a smooth transition for new hires and departing employees.
  • Support recruitment tasks, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews.
  • Help with HR administration, maintaining employee records, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Work directly with the HR Director and Senior HR Coordinator to gain insights into strategic HR practices.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve HR processes and workflows.
  • Develop strong communication and organizational skills through daily interactions with team members and candidates.
  • Adapt to changing processes and workflows, demonstrating flexibility and a positive attitude.
  • Manage your time effectively to balance internship responsibilities with academic commitments.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Must have at least 1 year of administrative or human resource management experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for this role.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Ability to work remotely with a high-speed Wi-Fi connection.
  • Willingness to overlap with Pacific Standard Time (PST) hours.
  • Experience with Greenhouse ATS or Trinet HRIS is a plus.
  • A positive attitude and team spirit to contribute to a collaborative work environment.
