About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Wingate Living, a premier senior living community. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to oversee housekeeping operations and ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors. As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and service.

What You'll Do

• Supervise, train, and schedule housekeeping staff to ensure effective coverage and efficient operations.
• Perform housekeeping duties as needed to support staff and maintain service standards.
• Conduct daily inspections of resident apartments, common areas, and facilities to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met.
• Maintain housekeeping supply inventory, order supplies as needed, and manage budgets responsibly.
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure compliance with health, safety, and infection control standards.
• Respond promptly and effectively to resident, staff, or visitor housekeeping requests or concerns.
• Ensure proper use, care, and maintenance of housekeeping equipment and supplies.
• Collaborate with other departments to support special events, moves, or community needs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework or certifications in hospitality or facility management preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience required, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, safety standards, and infection control practices.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with staff and residents.
• Ability to train, motivate, and lead a team.
• Basic computer skills for scheduling and inventory.
• Strong organizational, training, and leadership skills.
