Housekeeping PM Laundry - Remote Position at Remington Hospitality

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping PM Laundry professional to join our team at Remington Hospitality. In this remote position, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a pleasant experience for our guests.

What You'll Do

• Clean guest hallways and corridors, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
• Remove trash from hallway trash cans, housekeeping carts, and guest rooms, depositing it in the dumpster.
• Thoroughly vacuum guest hallways, elevators, carpet edges, and stairwells.
• Shampoo carpets and mop floors as needed to maintain cleanliness.
• Clean vending areas, including ice machines, candy machines, and soda machines.
• Dust light fixtures in hallways, fire extinguisher boxes, and railings.
• Remove soiled linen from housekeeping carts and transport it to the laundry room using laundry carts.
• Restock housekeeping carts with clean linen as needed by room attendants.
• Take dirty glasses from guest rooms to the dishwasher in the kitchen or housekeeping area for cleaning.
• Restock clean glasses as needed to ensure guest satisfaction.

Requirements

• Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and lift heavy items.
