Head of Origination - Remote Leadership Role

About the Role

We are seeking a Head of Origination to join our dynamic team at saas.group, a leader in the B2B SaaS industry. This remote position is pivotal in driving our acquisition strategy and ensuring the growth of our portfolio. As the Head of Origination, you will lead our North American and European origination functions while architecting our broader deal sourcing strategy.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with the Head of M&A and senior leadership to define and execute origination strategy aligned with platform growth objectives.
• Establish and monitor annual financial and operational metrics for the origination function.
• Identify high-conviction investment verticals and continuously refine our acquisition thesis.
• Spearhead AI-centric sourcing initiatives, including both existing pipeline development and greenfield opportunity identification.
• Build, manage, and mentor a high-performing origination team spanning North America and Europe.
• Maintain personal origination quota by sourcing and engaging bootstrapped, product-led growth (PLG) B2B SaaS founders.
• Partner with deal execution teams on advanced-stage pipeline management.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a leadership role within the B2B SaaS sector.
• Strong understanding of acquisition strategies and deal sourcing.
• Ability to cultivate relationships with founders and executives.
• Experience in AI-centric initiatives and sourcing.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
