About the Role

We are seeking a Head of Operations to join our team at Odgers Berndtson. This remote opportunity allows you to lead our Operations team while ensuring operational excellence in a fast-paced professional services environment.

What You'll Do

• Lead the Business Operations Manager team, ensuring performance and capability development.
• Drive operational delivery, stability, and continuous improvement across the organization.
• Oversee change initiatives impacting business operations.
• Establish and maintain operational metrics and KPI frameworks.
• Engage with business stakeholders for prioritization and demand management.
• Develop training strategies, onboarding processes, and enhance digital literacy.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, operational risk management, and audit readiness.
• Escalate and resolve significant operational issues and risks.

Requirements

• Proven experience in operating model design and business operations management.
• Strong knowledge of change management frameworks and adoption techniques.
• Experience with business process management and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
• Familiarity with performance management, metrics, and KPI frameworks.
• Understanding of regulatory, risk, and compliance principles relevant to our sector.
• Experience in learning, capability development, and digital literacy practices.
• Knowledge of governance, assurance, and audit requirements.
• Ability to lead technology-enabled change through digital and data concepts.

Nice to Have

• Experience in stakeholder management and executive communication.
• Ability to influence without authority and manage competing priorities.
• Experience in designing and sponsoring training and capability uplift initiatives.
