Head of Operations

About the Role

We are seeking a Head of Operations to join our fast-growing FinTech company. This Head of Operations remote role offers the opportunity to lead operational strategies and enhance compliance and governance in a dynamic environment. You will be instrumental in driving efficiency and process design while ensuring exceptional customer success.

What You'll Do

• Develop and implement operational strategies that align with business objectives.
• Oversee compliance and governance frameworks, ensuring adherence to KYC/AML regulations.
• Enhance customer experience by optimizing cross-department workflows.
• Manage payment service provider (PSP) integrations and onboarding flows.
• Create and maintain reporting systems for leadership visibility and strategic decision-making.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in operations within fast-scaling brokerages or FinTech environments.
• Proven expertise in compliance, governance, and operational frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of KYC/AML regulations and processes.
• Experience in managing payments and onboarding processes.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills in English; knowledge of Bulgarian and Russian is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Experience with AI-powered automation in operational processes.
• Familiarity with EU regulatory frameworks, particularly CySEC and FCA.
• Background in customer success management.
