German Language Translator (Remote)

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled German Language Translator to join our team remotely. As a German Language Translator, you will play a crucial role in bridging communication gaps and ensuring accurate translations for various projects. This remote position allows you to work from anywhere while contributing to meaningful translations that impact our clients' success.

What You'll Do

• Translate documents and content from German to English and vice versa, ensuring accuracy and cultural relevance.
• Utilize CAT tools such as Trados, SmartCat, and Memsource to enhance translation efficiency and consistency.
• Collaborate with project managers and clients to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality translations.
• Maintain a strong online presence and communicate effectively with team members and clients.
• Be available for overtime work, especially from 6 PM to midnight Moscow time, to meet project deadlines.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a translator, preferably with a focus on German language translation.
• Familiarity with CAT tools such as Trados, SmartCat, or Memsource.
• Strong understanding of translation themes and specialization areas.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
• Willingness to provide your current rates for translation services.

Nice to Have

• Experience in specific fields such as legal, medical, or technical translation.
• Additional language skills beyond German and English.
