About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Head of Legal and Compliance to join our team in a fully remote capacity. As the Head of Legal and Compliance, you will play a crucial role in shaping our legal strategy and ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations. This position offers a unique opportunity to lead a robust legal and compliance function within a fast-growing infrastructure company.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and implement legal strategies that align with the company's business objectives.
  • Oversee compliance with local and international regulations, including GDPR and other data protection laws.
  • Provide legal counsel on corporate governance, contract negotiation, and risk management.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership and the board to ensure legal and compliance matters are addressed effectively.
  • Lead a team of legal professionals to manage litigation and regulatory affairs.
  • Institutionalize a robust legal and compliance framework that supports the company's growth.
  • Engage with external legal advisors and manage relationships with regulatory bodies.
  • Conduct training and awareness programs on compliance and legal obligations for employees.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent legal qualification.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in legal and compliance roles, with a focus on corporate governance and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong understanding of data protection laws, including GDPR.
  • Proven experience in contract management and negotiation.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in the SaaS or cybersecurity sectors is a plus.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with government contracts and compliance.
  • Knowledge of UX/UI design principles.
  • Familiarity with SEO and digital compliance.
