Head of Group Distribution - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Head of Group Distribution Remote to join Acenda, a company with over 135 years of heritage dedicated to empowering a brighter future. As part of the global Nippon Life Group, we are committed to enhancing our capabilities and putting customers at the heart of everything we do. This newly created role will report to the Chief Growth Officer and is pivotal as we merge the Resolution Life and Acenda businesses, aiming to create one of the largest life insurance entities in the market.

What You'll Do

• Drive strategic initiatives that deliver long-term value for our Group channel.
• Identify new growth opportunities and nurture relationships with business prospects.
• Make strategic decisions regarding Acenda's participation in the Group market.
• Collaborate with the General Manager, Group Partnerships to coordinate tender activities.
• Play a hands-on role in driving outcomes within a small, specialized team.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in the Group Insurance landscape, particularly in corporate and superfunds.
• Proven track record in business development, tender management, and account management.
• Strong understanding of member experience expectations and operational frameworks.
• Ability to adapt and pivot strategies to meet changing market demands.
• Resilience and a collaborative mindset to drive growth opportunities.
