About the Role

We are seeking a Global Manager, Employee Relations to join our team in a fully remote capacity. This role is crucial for leading and supporting a high-performing team in delivering exceptional employee lifecycle and advisory services. As a Global Manager, Employee Relations, you will combine strategic oversight with hands-on management, ensuring operational excellence across global HR practices and complex employee relations cases.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and manage a team of Employee Lifecycle Specialists, providing coaching, mentorship, and performance guidance.
  • Oversee complex voluntary and involuntary terminations across multiple countries, ensuring compliance and sensitivity.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations inquiries, delivering expert guidance and support to clients and internal teams.
  • Partner with Operations and HR teams to ensure seamless collaboration and high-quality outcomes for clients and employees.
  • Implement and maintain consistent employee relations practices, including progressive discipline, workplace investigations, and compliance with local employment laws.
  • Provide operational support on cross-functional initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic HR goals.
  • Monitor team performance, ensuring accountability, high-quality service, and adherence to established standards and policies.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in Human Resources, Operations, or Employee Relations roles, including experience as a People Manager.
  • Advanced knowledge of HR practices, employee relations, performance management, and local employment laws across multiple countries.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex employee lifecycle cases, including involuntary exits and sensitive situations.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to engage, influence, and develop culturally diverse teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, analytical, and written communication skills with high emotional intelligence.
  • Ability to work effectively in dynamic, asynchronous, and fast-changing environments.
  • Experience in start-up or globally distributed organizations is highly desirable.
  • High levels of discretion, integrity, professionalism, and adherence to core organizational values.
