About the Role

We are excited to announce the opening of the first-ever dual-branded hotel in Caldwell, ID! As a General Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping the hospitality experience at our new property, which features both Townplace Suites and Fairfield Inn & Suites. This General Manager position offers a unique opportunity to lead a groundbreaking initiative in Caldwell’s hotel industry, ensuring guest satisfaction and operational excellence.

What You'll Do

  • Drive the training, culture, and overall environment of the hotel to meet guest satisfaction targets.
  • Lead and support various departments including housekeeping, front desk, food & beverage, and sales.
  • Manage human resources functions to control turnover and focus on employee development.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings to foster communication and address grievances.
  • Ensure all departments are profitable while maintaining a cohesive working relationship.
  • Oversee service quality, operational efficiency, and financial performance of the hotel.
  • Participate in sales and revenue management efforts to maximize profitability.
  • Coordinate capital improvement projects to maintain quality standards and protect the asset.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 5-7 years of experience in the hospitality industry required; 10+ years preferred.
  • Previous General Manager experience is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of sales processes, revenue management, and financial analysis.
  • Proficient in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in MS Office and brand operating systems.
  • Ability to lead by example and assess team performance fairly.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with E-Verify for employment authorization verification.
  • Knowledge of hospitality industry trends and best practices.
  • Strong community engagement skills to enhance the hotel's presence.
