About the Role
We're looking for a skilled Full Stack Software Engineer to join our fully remote team. As a Full Stack Software Engineer remote, you'll work hands-on across the stack using Next.js, Node.js, .NET/C#, and TypeScript to build performant, secure, and scalable web applications. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving real-world problems with modern technologies and collaborating closely with product and design teams.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Next.js, Node.js, .NET/C#, and TypeScript.
- Build responsive, accessible, and performant user interfaces for customer-facing eCommerce platforms.
- Implement backend services and APIs using REST and GraphQL.
- Write clean, testable, and maintainable code using frameworks such as Jest, xUnit, or NUnit.
- Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and reliability.
- Integrate with third-party platforms and services.
- Work with cloud-native components including Azure Functions, Service Bus, and event-driven architecture.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and sprint planning.
- Contribute to CI/CD workflows and automated testing and deployment pipelines.
- Participate in the team's on-call support rota, with coverage mostly focused on daytime hours.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack development.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML, and CSS.
- Solid experience with Next.js, React.js, and Node.js.
- Backend development experience with .NET/C#.
- Experience with Azure, including Functions, Service Bus, and Cosmos DB.
- Familiarity with SQL (MSSQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB).
- Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and asynchronous data flows.
- Comfortable working with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with eCommerce platforms.
- Familiarity with CMS integration and SEO best practices.
- Experience with rendering strategies in Next.js (CSR, SSR, ISR, SSG).
- Exposure to Agile development and DevOps practices.
