About the Role

We are seeking a talented Freelance Videographer to join our remote team at Instrument. As a Freelance Videographer, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects that involve capturing engaging and visually compelling footage. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about storytelling through video. You'll be filming on-site in New York City from September 15–17, approximately 4 hours per day.

What You'll Do

  • Partner closely with an on-site producer to capture high-quality footage during live events.
  • Coordinate real-time handoffs of footage to the editing team for fast-turnaround content delivery.
  • Adapt quickly to the flow of a live environment, ensuring seamless and professional coverage.
  • Utilize your proven experience filming event activations or live coverage to enhance the quality of our projects.
  • Demonstrate a strong eye for detail, composition, and storytelling through video.
  • Communicate effectively with producers and editors to ensure a smooth collaboration.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a videographer, particularly in event activations or live coverage.
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments where speed, adaptability, and precision are critical.
  • Strong communication skills and professionalism when collaborating with team members.
  • A portfolio showcasing your videography work and storytelling abilities.
  • Willingness to travel to New York City for the filming dates.
