About the Role

We are looking for a talented Freelance Motion Designer to join our team at Genesis. As a Freelance Motion Designer, you will create compelling advertising materials for our innovative product 'Manifest'. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely while contributing to a company that impacts the lives of over 30 million people worldwide in the EdTech sector.

What You'll Do

  • Create engaging advertising video materials for mobile and web products across various traffic acquisition channels such as Facebook, TikTok, and Pinterest.
  • Adapt new brand visuals to advertising materials, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Participate in the development of new ideas and concepts for advertising materials, showcasing your creativity and design skills.
  • Work independently on variations of successful concepts, bringing your unique perspective to the team.
  • Collaborate with marketers and graphic designers to ensure cohesive branding and messaging.
  • Localize finished creatives to cater to diverse audiences.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience as a Motion Designer or Marketing Motion Designer.
  • Advanced proficiency in After Effects and a solid understanding of design principles such as typography, composition, and basics of animation.
  • Familiarity with tools like Figma, Illustrator, Cinema 4D, or Blender.
  • Confident use of various AI tools for video and audio creation.
  • Understanding of how advertising works on social media platforms.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in creating content for educational products or services.
  • Knowledge of current trends in motion design and advertising.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
