About the Role

We are seeking a Freelance Malay Translator to join our dynamic team remotely. This position focuses on translating marketing and consumer survey materials specifically in the finance sector. As a Freelance Malay Translator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and culturally relevant translations that resonate with our target audience.

What You'll Do

• Translate marketing and consumer survey documents from English to Malay, ensuring precision and adherence to terminology.
• Utilize advanced Neural Machine Translation (NMT) technology to enhance translation efficiency and quality.
• Collaborate with the Lilt Translator Community for support and best practices.
• Maintain a high standard of translation quality, particularly for finance-related content.
• Follow reference materials and terminology guidelines closely to ensure consistency across translations.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of translation experience or a relevant degree in Linguistics or Translation.
• Proven experience in translating finance-related documents, particularly fund documentation.
• Native Malay speaker based in the EU.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow terminology precisely.
• Familiarity with marketing and consumer survey translations is essential.
